Jim has also been featured as a speaker and moderator at numerous chapter and regional educational functions. ARMA membership has continually been a major contributor to his success as a Records Manager, as well as in his personal life. As a result of ARMA networking, Jim accepted his current position as Records Systems Consultant with Information Network International, moved to Houston, transferred his ARMA membership to Houston, and developed a relationship with one particular ARMA Houston member, Brenda Clements. They were married in 2002.

Jim’s service with ARMA Houston began as the manager of the National RIM Month committee. He went on to serve the Board of Directors as VP of Marketing. In this position, Jim advocated the benefits of ARMA membership and education, as well as promoted the RM profession at numerous ARMA Houston meetings and at its Annual Conferences.
