RECORDS AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT MONTH

RIM Month brings together members of state / local government officials and RIM professionals to proclaim the importance and purpose of Records and Information Management.  Proclamations from government officials, often at the highest level, have been obtained to celebrate ARMA Houston RIM Month.

The Proclamations declaring April as "Records and Information Management Month":

• underscore the importance of RIM,
• accentuate the benefits RIM provides to the information management realm,
• highlight the impact on global business,
• recognize the professional Records Manager and
• allow an opportunity for Records and Information Managers around the world to celebrate and promote their profession.

ARMA Houston's RIM Month Committee, a strong advocate, is very successful in promoting Records and Information Management Month and its related activities.
