Topic: "A Records Manager View to Information Governance"
Speaker: David Gould and Gregg Luther
David Gould, Global Director HP IM Software Information Governance
Gregg has been a Solutions Consultant with HP/Autonomy, since 2009. While at HP/Autonomy, Gregg has worked with Records Management professionals in government agencies and the private sector throughout the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand, The Netherlands, Germany, and the UK. He has over 13 years of experience in designing, and selling records management software for government, law firms, accounting firms and Fortune 500 corporations.
Prior to his position at HP/Autonomy, Gregg was a Solutions Consultant with Interwoven. He was also National Sales Manager at Software Intelligence, Inc. (SII) where he was responsible for sales efforts of the LegalTRAX, AccounTRAX and InfoTRAX records management software. Gregg was also instrumental in developing the records management policies at SII.
Before that, Gregg spent 10 years with Hallmark Cards. During his time with Hallmark Gregg was recognized as one of the top employees by receiving the Crown Club Ring. He was also on a team that tested team selling and computer use by field sales people. This successful test led to the broad adoption of both team selling and computers at Hallmark.
Gregg has been an active member of the Mile High Denver Chapter of ARMA since 2000. He has served the chapter on several committees and has the held board positions of Treasurer, President-Elect, President, and Chairman of the Board. The Mile High Denver Chapter of ARMA has over 200 members. A frequent presenter at records management seminars, Gregg has presented Records Management Software seminars in US, Australia, and New Zealand, including the RMAA Conference in Australia-New Zealand. He has also presented at the ILTA Interwoven Users Conference and at AIIM and ARMA chapter meetings. Gregg participated as part of a panel on retention policies held by the law firm of Frost, Brown and Todd. He has also moderated panel discussions on topics ranging from document management, records management, and content management.
A former member of AIIM, Gregg has completed the Electronic Records Management Master class.
Gregg has a B.A. from Luther College in Decorah, IA. He has served Luther College on the Alumni Council in many capacities since 1993. Currently he is and advisor to the President of the Alumni Council.
Outside activities keep Gregg busy. He can usually be found doing something in the mountains. Hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, rafting are just a few of the activities he enjoys. Gregg is also an avid swimmer and triathlete.
