Luncheon presentation:

Trusting the Process - the life of a Major League Baseball reporter and how Julia Morales landed baseball’s best gig

Many of us have been inspired by the Houston Astros Baseball Club which has become one of the best in the last ten years. Join ARMA Houston to kick off the year 2020  with inspiring stories from Julia Morales. She will talk about working with the hometeam, what it's like to work in the baseball industry, and how building relationships and learning new skills helped her succeed.

About the speaker:  Julia Morales is the Astros Field Reporter for AT&T SportsNet and just wrapped up her seventh season as a member of the Houston Astros broadcast team.  Recently she won an Emmy for her work on the weekly show Astros Bases Loaded and created a fan-favorite segment, Covering All the Bases.  While in Houston, Julia has made an impact on Astros fans, women in sports and future sportscasters, recently receiving a Woman of Inspiration award from the Houston chapter of WISE, Women in Sports and Events.

The January luncheon is sponsored by Access Sciences and Pacotech
