Call for Speakers

ARMA Houston Annual Spring Conference
April 4/19-4/20 2016
Houston, Texas

ARMA Houston is seeking proposals for the 2016 ARMA Houston Conference. We invite you to partner with us to bring superior quality conference education to our members by submitting proposals which build core skills, share best practices and innovations, and lead the way in industry trends. Your proposal should reassure the ARMA Houston 2016 Program Committee that each breakout session you deliver will provide attendees with takeaways that are immediately useful. This will be the primary focus of the ARMA Houston 2016 Program Committee. Thank you for submitting proposals that are learner-focused that ensure each program is a learning experience with application to the participant's work.

Requested Topic Categories
In order to create a well-rounded conference program and respond to feedback from attendees, ARMA Houston has done a significant amount of pre-planning for the 2016 Spring Conference education program.   The Requested Proposal Topic Categories reflect the feedback we received from our members.  Proposals
for topics outside this framework will be considered if the content substantially supports the overall program.

Topic Categories include:

 RIM Basics & Advanced   Legal
 Business/Audit  Management Skills
 Data Science  Privacy
 Information Technology

Breakout Sessions – Sessions are generally one hour and 15 minutes in length and will run concurrent to three other sessions of a different topic category (track).  Longer sessions will be considered. The conference program committee may shorten and lengthen sessions at their discretion.

Opening/Lunch Session – One opening and one lunch session will be selected, with a length of 45-60 minutes.
